Theater is a combination among acting, dance, music, lighting, and so many elements in it. Theater is not only about acting in front of public on a stage and showing the best performance. But behind the beautiful of movement in every scenes, there’s a huge hard work from every single of crews.

Lembaga Teater Perempuan from ISI (Indonesia Art Institut) Yogyakarta was playing drama with title “Pilihan Pembayun” in UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta on April 2015. This staging held because coorperation with UKM Theater Syahid. This staging is a part of #ArtInspiring2015, the event which is presented by Theater Syahid. #ArtInspiring2015 is not only about staging from ISI, but there’s also a public discussions, book review and kaleidoscope.

Pilihan Pembayun is a drama about Mataram Kingdom in Indonesia, the drama was showing the story that had happened long time ago. The content of the drama is still in its way, but the way Lembaga Teater Perempuan brought it on a stage using the easy way so the audiences could possibly understand about the story.

“It was such an amazing staging from LTP” said one of the audiances after watching the show. But... do you really want to know what kind of situation before staging takes place? Before the glowing light makes you amazed? It’s like at sixes and sevens. Work hard is needed when the crew was trying to conjure up the hall SC becomes a theater (a place where people perform something).

                But after the hard work from all crews, the staging was successful. The appereance from LTP was entrance the audiances, and atmostfer from the drama was frozen them, until one of the actresses was getting prossessed by the character in that story which is Kidul Queen.  Noted, there’s more than 600 audiances came in two days show.

            Theater is not as simple as you see, like acting on a stage and doing some dialogues, it’s a big no. With so many elements in it, you need to pracetice as much as you should. Cause so many factors become a consideration, not only about your acting, but also technical problems.
